Our storyWhy I started Cascade
My name is Flynn Griffin, and I was born and raised on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. I started Cascade Water Co. in Easton because I’ve always had a passion for helping people, especially people who don’t know what they don’t know.
Since graduating high school, I’ve worked in luxury estate management, which gave me years of hands-on experience in the trades and home service work. That’s where I discovered what was wrong with the home water filtration business. Companies would charge $10,000 to $15,000 or more to install a whole-home system, and we knew that wasn’t right.
So we did something about it. We built Cascade around fair, affordable pricing for a system that holds its own against the five-figure competition, with whole-home systems starting at just $3,000. That way, nearly anyone can afford to have healthy water in their home.
Water is something we use every day without a second thought. We drink it, cook with it, bathe in it. What most people never realize is that what’s in it may be affecting their bodies and their homes. Some contaminants found in municipal and well water have been linked to long-term health concerns, and hard water quietly wears out plumbing and appliances. These problems can sneak up on you, whether it shows up as a diagnosis at the doctor’s office or an appliance that gives out years too early.
I love being able to bring something as useful as clean water into a customer’s daily life, and to show them what they didn’t know was there. That’s why we lead with education. We test your water at your home, show you your readings in person, and let the results and the science speak for themselves. No pressure, no obligation.
My family has been in Easton and throughout the Shore for three generations, and this is the community I want to serve. We work with homes, townhouses, apartments, and businesses across Maryland, on municipal water and private wells, with one goal: healthier homes and healthier communities, one family at a time.
